I remember when I was 41; I thought I was sooooo old!  I'm 52 now, soon to be 53, and as you know, hindsight is always 20/20.

If you were my daughter or friend, I would tell you that you are SO YOUNG and *NOW* is the time to go for it.  You have plenty of time left, and time goes fast.  Don't waste a minute of it.  If you want to go for nursing, DO IT.  You've got LOTS of working years ahead of you.

Good luck, and I know you'll do well. And -- always have faith in YOURSELF because you are the perfect age where you have a LOT going for you!
