have opened! haha Seriously, in my opinion, it started deteriorating when the so-called schools that advertised 4 months of school and making big bucks. you would see these advertisements on the back of magazines and rag newspapers, everywhere. Things like $30,000 a year to start, working at home with four months school. That is where it started deteriorating. Also, when the companies started off-shoring. This job went from a career where eventually if you wanted to work at home and your employer would allow it, then it was possible to a "work at home" career. There is a difference. When it is advertised as a work at home career it gives the idea that you can just raise your kids, work when you want and make tons of money. Also a four month school is NOT enough to get you going to working at home. You need the in-house experience (in acute care) for several years before ever starting this. That is my opinion.
