As opposed to Commie News Network?

LOL, Commie News Network? Facts? LOL

You get your news from CNN?  Well, that explains a lot.  As far as being ready for kids...Plenty of people have only as many kids as they can support themselves, AND buy their own house, AND provide for their own retirements.  It's called planning, not reproducing to the extreme under the umbrella of being a "good Catholic" and then being unable to provide.

Commie news?
Well my dear, it was different back in the 50s, obviously which you know nothing about. The world is a different place today and yes my parents followed the Catholic region to a T not that I agree it. I didn't say they couldn't provide, they provided 7 kids with good educations and values (even though mine may be questioned on here, which I don't mind), and at the time when my dad was working his tail off for John Deere, those people in those days in the 20s did not believe in putting their money in stocks because of the year of 1929 if you even know what happened in that year. We did live in a house that my parents bought. I did not say we were not provided for, I said we had everything we needed, nothing more. Well you must certainly be naive to think that Mr. Bush is a good president. Have you lost any people/friends in a war that was uncalled for. Talk to a Viet Nam Vet and see what they have to say. I have 3 brothers who all served our country. I don't know where you live, but go to the Walter Reed Hospital and see the men there. You might get an education. Bush lies to us and if you can't see it, you better take your blinders off. I hope you don't have kids old enough to have to serve in a war. God help you if you do.
Yes it is very sad. Not a ffan of network news, but Jennings did the 2000 New Years broadcast
where they showed different New Years celebrations in different countries and he handled it so well getting us all through the 2000 scare.  Too bad about the lung cancer.  It's an ugly but for the most part preventable disease.  They say he was a heavy smoker.  All the sadder.
Thank you so much. That makes me feel better.
Here's hoping things go smoothly. :)
It is entirely possible it makes you feel odd.
Even if it wasn't a fairly new drug, medications can affect different people differently. It does seem surprising that it took 6 months, so maybe it's something else, or something new you added to your diet or something reacting with the drug.

Sometimes doctors will dismiss patients' anecdotal reactions, but time will tell. That's what happened with drugs like Lipitor. It took a lot of patients complaining of back pain and suggesting it was Lipitor before doctors stopped insisting it wasn't Lipitor doing it (from what I heard from patients).

Definitely talk to your doctor and hopefully he or she will have an acceptable solution for the problem.

That makes me feel
That makes me feel sooo much better! Thanks for responding. I really thought this job was going to work out well at first, but I too have had very little training and/or support for the last three days and I'm thinking "Why am I doing this?" I have another job I can go back to that was much simpler with fewer headaches. I just hate to be known as a "quitter" after such a short time. I guess I should expect some ugly emails huh? lol
Thank you. That makes me feel better. :)

Not sure, but doing MT every day sure makes me FEEL
Most of the time it's VERY hard for me to forcus for more than about 10 minutes before I get distracted.
P.S. If it makes you feel any better
when I had 10 years' exp I SUCKED at ophthalmology, but I was willing to learn and now I am quite good.
in fact - read inside -news article
"There's a critical shortage of qualified labor," said Lea Sims, a spokeswoman for the American Association of Medical Transcription, in Modesto, Calif.

Medical transcriptionists in the United States are aging. The median age for workers in the profession is between 48 and 50 years of age and younger workers are not lining up to enter the profession, which requires extensive training and time to become proficient, Sims said.

Sims, who ran her own transcription services firm for eight years, said she always had more work than qualified people to do it.

That's why the industry has looked at offshore labor, although that strategy comes with its own host of challenges, such as ensuring the security of patient data and encountering communication barriers, health experts say."

AND THIS PART"

CBay's growth in its six years has earned it a spot on private company rankings by Forbes magazine and Deloitte & Touche LLP. The company recently doubled its office space in Annapolis, to 20,000 square feet.

Managers credit the company's growth to its ability to slash transcription costs for cash-strapped hospitals like the University of Michigan Health System and physician practices by relying on cheaper resources overseas. "

Another hospital that sees the need to outsource to India is Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC.

how funny, must read this in USA news...more antioxidants than blueberries...
(KEEPING IN MIND EVERYTHING IN MODERATION)

Antioxidants galore. Chocolate is rich in cell-protecting antioxidants. A 1.4-ounce piece of milk chocolate typically has 400 milligrams of antioxidants, as much as in a glass of red wine, says chemist Joe A. Vinson of the University of Scranton. Dark chocolate has twice as much; white chocolate, none. Antioxidant activity jumped 31% in the blood of subjects at the University of California, Davis, two hours after eating 2.8 ounces of M&Ms semisweet baking bits.
Anti-cholesterol. The antioxidants in chocolate help block chemical changes in bad LDL cholesterol that lead to clogged arteries. In fact, Vinson found chocolate's antioxidants better than vitamin C at detoxifying LDLs. Research by Penny Kris-Etherton at Pennsylvania State University shows diets rich in dark chocolate or cocoa powder raise good HDL cholesterol. Previously, she found eating a milk chocolate bar daily for a month (in place of another high-carb snack) did not raise men's bad cholesterol.
Clot blocker. Chocolate antioxidants act like aspirin to reduce blood platelet stickiness and thus the clotting that triggers heart attacks and strokes. In a recent study, 30 subjects drank water, a caffeine drink or a cocoa drink containing 1.5 times the antioxidants in typical hot cocoa. The cocoa significantly delayed blood-clotting time.
Vessel relaxant. Good vascular function (how well blood vessels relax) helps prevent heart disease, high blood pressure and artery clogging. Chocolate's antioxidants (called procyanidins) relax vessels by increasing the chemical nitric oxide, according to new studies at the University of California, Davis.

You may wonder ...

Won't chocolate make me fat? Chocolate packs fat and sugar, so overindulging does put on pounds. But chocolate is not a prime cause of obesity, studies worldwide find. The Swiss eat twice as much chocolate per person as we do -- 22 pounds a year -- but have one of the lowest obesity rates.
Isn't chocolate full of saturated fat, the type that clogs arteries? About 60% of chocolate's fat is saturated, and a typical chocolate bar contains 8 grams of saturated fat, so bingeing on chocolate drives up your intake of saturated fat. But moderate amounts do not appear harmful. Extensive research at Harvard found women who ate chocolate bars three or four times a week were no more apt to have heart disease than women who rarely ate chocolate.
Isn't the sugar in chocolate unhealthful? In excess, yes. But a chocolate bar's glycemic index -- a measure of ability to drive up blood sugar -- is surprisingly low, about like oatmeal's.
What about chocolate's caffeine? A dark chocolate bar's 10-30mg is modest next to the 100mg in a cup of coffee.
Isn't most research funded by the chocolate industry? Yes, but it's done by reputable scientists at leading universities and published in excellent scientific journals. Quaker paid for much original research on oats; that doesn't make it untrue.

Thanks for the info. Makes me feel better.... sm

I have been doing a lot of reading and I really hoped it would do well with just voice files.  Thanks for sharing.  I am looking forward to the reducing the noise factor as well.  Can't wait to get mine! Will get it possibly by Monday.

Actually makes me feel someone is watching OUT for me
x
Hope this makes you feel better...sm
I just let "them" go after 1 day. I went to work for a company and after 1 day of training I could sense the BS coming on strong, so just quit. They just couldn't understand. Works both ways, IMO.
If it makes you feel better, add some chicken broth
:}
Thanks everyone for the support. Makes feel a bit better. I have other accounts and
I hope things will be okay. I just find it hard to believe that they can get the quality of service they got with me for 11 cents per line! They will probably get hit with either bad quality work or lots of hidden charges....I can only hope!
I don't think you should give a gift that makes someone feel little either...
I am sure if your husband left a $5 Walmart gift card on the table for your anniversary rather than a heartfelt card, handwritten note, or even the traditional nothing, you would feel offended, too.
well I bet that makes her feel good, aren't you wonderful
Nice of you to let everyone know how good you have it compared to others.
It makes me sick to read this
Regardless, it is a human life in her. I am totally against abortion. She put herself in the situation and now she must deal with it. Many people who have had abortions regretted them in the future. Not saying that she will though. I am not sure what kind of person she actually is.

Another great option would be adoption. That would be my first choice if I were in this situation, and thank god I was smart enough not to put myself there!

Why start such a controversial topic?
She just cant read fast enough. It makes her sad :(
nm
Oh, that makes me sick. I wish I wouldn't have read

The font you are using makes it very hard to read
your post.
What network? It comes on @ 11 p.m. Friday on USA network where I live. - nm

From what I have read, don't feel you have to worry sm
I think it is probably how their system is set up and nothing weird is going down, naw, don't think so.  Not to worry, not to worry. "smile"
just checked i-mail. no news. how did you get your news?
love,

frank
News flash..Don't know where you get your news, but the economy is doing very well.
s
My theory is no news is good news. (sm)
If there is really a problem with your transcription, then I would not worry about it. They will get to you if you screw up.

As far as policies and procedures, look in your manual. I am sure they gave you info for all of that stuff. JMO.
I have good news and bad news 4U...
The good news is on Saturday, July 1 many of your least favorite residents will be "graduating." The bad news is that on the same day you'll be getting a virtual box of candy with brand new residents who have no clue how to dictate! RU excited?? ARGHHHH!!!!
Always be looking. Every day. Network with others. SM

I have the best job I've ever had in my life, and it came from friends on the board. Every job I get is the same way. Word of mouth. I have only filled out one application for employment since 1983 and I already had the job.

They really are out there and it sounds like you are qualified. Are you wanting full time or part time?

We could have our own network MTtV

Have a show like Candida Camera where a resident spends an hour with a patient that he doesn't understand.  When the doctor asks where the pain is the patient can point to his chest and as soon as the MD starts listening to the chest, the patient can change his mind and tell him the pain is in the back.  When he goes to the back, the patient can tell him, "no wait, in the stomach".  He can give him a list of medicines all spelled wrong and dosages all wrong.  Then when the doctor is giving him instructions, the patient can start talking on his cellphone, making the doctor sit and wait while the patient talks to someone else.

Or....

In another episode of Candida Camera, show a physician talking to consulting doctor who speaks a number of different dialects or a doctor who talks a million milds a minute in half-syllable words.  Watch Dr. A try to understand what Dr. B as he makes up words, lab tests, and diagnoses.

network solutions dot com....nm

For the network either, apparently.
BTW, I think it sucks that he left his wife and poor little ill baby for his new co-star. Glad it was canceled!!!
What about DISH network?
We are not worried about the TV aspect as we do not own a TV! This would be strictly for the internet service.
Is the printer on a network?
You may have to "wake up" the computer that printer is directly connected to and/or reboot that computer.
hughes network
I had them also before as I live way out there. They sound a little better than Wildblue but I still had many problems and felt they were not much faster than dial up either. We now also have DSL with windstream and even though it is the slowest connection that windstream has, it is better than dialup or satellite. I enjoy it also. To get started with Hughes network it cost me $800.00 to buy the dish and $60.00 a month. I still have the dish on the house and have no use for it. I too am happy with my DSL.
Network Problem
The problem could be any of several different things. We'll have to step through this and I'll need to be able to ask you some questions so we should probably take this offline to email.

Just hit "Reply by E-mail" at the bottom of this post with the subject "Network Problem" and I'll get back to you.
network air card
I have one which I purchased a month ago. it works well. I went with Verizon because it is 5 Gigs and ATT is only 3 Gigs of usage which makes a lot of difference. It works well and is portable. Sounds like it would be good for you in your situation. The first bill is more becuase of the setup fee, etc. ($112). I have not decided if I will keep my internet carrier or just have the Verizon. it is enough unless you want to view movies do a lot of video stuff. That will send you over the amount and cost a lot more. Hope you granddaughter gets better post haste. Will remember her in prayer.
Virtual Private Network.

How hard is it to network 2 systems
I would like these 2 systems to talk with each other and have no idea of how to do it?
He's still on the air because he owns the network. Nuff said? nm
:
You can Google for the show on the network and
read episode summaries online. Or there are websites out there with the fullblown scripts of every episode posted. I think they're even coming up with websites where you can legally watch reruns for $.99. I used to read the long scripts on my favorite TV show when we didn't have cable.
Global Transcription Network
Has anyone heard of the company "Global Transcription Network," was offered a job today.  Thanks bunches everyone.
Global Transccription Network
Where is the company located.  I worked for a company that bought out a company by that name.  If it is one in the same - do your best to run the other way.
Global Transcription Network
It is based out of Texas.
Anything that Rachael Ray from the Food Network says
..
Never heard of it ... what time is it on and what network? Thx. nm

Next Food Network Star
Anybody watch The Next Food Network Star tonight on Food Network?  Yvonne got "voted off the island" this time - she was always cooking ethnic and hispanic foods that were good, but she copped an attitude when she got voted off.  The guy from Iowa is still going strong!  I betcha the blond chunky guy wins (is Guy his name?) though.
I think the important part is the network

Homeschooling with others in a network is a little different than just plain homeschooling.

So, how do these children learn to pick their battles?  Do you as a homeschooling parent throw an eraser at them once in a while or pass a love note?

I'm not so sure I understand.

Check out Network Solutions.
They will register your domain name for you as well as host your site. They're also readily available if you have any questions. I went with them on the recommendation of a friend who is a website designer and have been very happy with my decision. It was pretty easy to design my website on their site as well. Their website address is below. Feel free to email me if you have further questions. momtypes @ comcast.net
Your wireless network and Wii are probably in the same frequency.

Your Wii is interfering with the wireless network. We just purchased home theater system and were considering the wireless speakers. When I asked the salesman about possible intereference with the wireless network, he said that is a problem and we decided instead to go with the wired speakers.

I'm not an expert in this field but you could try checking with someone like the Geek Squad or Firedog at Circuit City to be certain.
