I mentioned to my son last night that a dog in our neighborhood looked like Lassie and he responded with "Who is Lassie?" He is 8 and I am 34.

I was looking at his book order form and was remembering all the books I had read as a child, and yes some were on his order form, and he said "Wow, I can't believe they had those books way back then!"
