Please, please, don't go there.

The rumors of nonpayment and slow payment are true.  I personally was fool enough to work for them well over a year.  From my own experience, when checks did show up, they were consistently 10-14 days late.  (It was usually time to turn in the next invoice before you got paid for the last one!)  I had 5 checks bounce, and I never got paid for the last 2 pay periods--which equates to a month of salary.  I also know there are still several of us floating around out here whom etranz did not pay when we left.

I think the etranz owner has had this happen so many times, she is oblivious to the threats of taking her to court, reporting her, etc.  She knows we're independent contractors--not employees--and as such don't have the protection a true "employee" would have.  By the way, there are no employees at etranz--just ICs.  And no benefits whatsoever.

The best I can do is warn you to stay away if you want to get fair payment for a fair day's work.
