Question

Question - I am a salaried transcription and do not get paid by the line. I have been asked to do other duties other than transcription. I have been asked to do a billing grid in Excel everyday, which includes patient's name and the follow-up level for each patient. I do not mind doing this for the doctor, but I am constantly getting phone calls from the billing dept asking questions about this billing grid, which takes time away from transcription. 

If I am salaried emp should I do other work other than transcription? Confused!
