I appreciate your stance on determining qualified candidates on their testing and not so much where they graduated from. I have an Associate's Degree in Allied Health and worked for seven years as a transcriptionist. However, I have not done it in the past five years. It has been seven. I contacted two companies who would not even look at my resume because I have not had recent experience. I do not want to fork out a lot of money for training that I already had. Does anyone have any suggestios or know of "refresher" courses that would help me get my foot back in the door? The cost of these schools seems a little high.
