ASMT is using US MTs to develop
test for india MTs to certify them and they are using US MTs as guinea pigs. Do you still want to take their "beta test?"
I develop professionally every single day and I don't have to pay $300...

bucks to do it.  I learn something new everyday, I research, read, and take notes.  Professional development is a great notion for mandatory credentials, but my bottom line has more to do with money than accolades.  That's the reality for most of us.  Believe it or not, most of us are in this profession to make money from home.  Some of us oldtimers got into this business back when we were actually respected and paid for our professionalism and knowledge.

I'm simply not paid enough to spend $300 on a test that may or may not get me one more penny a line and most definitely won't guarantee that my job won't get sent overseas.
