I was recently job hunting since I moved. Not one single place asked about the CMT or AAMT at all except for an actual recruiting agency. Even then they didn't have any companies that paid a differential. I asked my boss why I was never asked and he told me that you know the first day is someone has enough experience and really knows what they are doing or not. I canceled my membership with the AAMT and am using the money for other, much more worthwhile, career-related tasks. :)
