Asking someone if they are an ageist, is calling them a name, whether there is a LOL there or not, and I do know what LOL means. Joking or not, I took offense. Maybe if I include that today is the 3rd anniversary of my fathers death and that the 16th will be the first anniversary of my children's father's suicide, maybe that will give you some insight as to my sensitive nature right now. You have no idea what is going on in a person's life when you post things like that, or how they will perceive it. I am sensitive right now, but I have good reason to be. To reiterate, I only answered a simple question that was not directed at anyone or anything and I certainly was not expecting to be asked if I was an ageist, simply for stating I was 56. I still did not deserve that. But again, I accepted your apology, and perhaps the other person I responded to needs to understand that not everyone is always in a good mood, and does not need to be told to "lighten up" when they may have some underlying issues only they know about.
