A lot of people will tell you that satellite doesn't work with VPN and several companies will not hire those with satellite internet (it is, after all, only marginally better than dialup). However, here in the boonies, it's pretty much my only option (I am so far out there, I can't even get those internet cards from the cell phone companies). I have not found yet a program that didn't work, although admittedly there are occasions that the upload/download time seems endless and little things like waiting for things like the doctor lists and demographics cut into productive time....you'll learn to hate hate hate any report shorter than 5 minutes because you'll spend more time waiting than you do typing. Of course, it could just be the Hughes really really really really really really sux.
