I often wonder why they still do certain procedures with no anesthetics or even a sedative etc. I once had a hysterosalpingogram with the catheter/dye and literally thought I was going to die. It seems if a tube is blocked the worse the pain. I never had anything so painful in my life. It just seems so barbaric.
