Especially if it is local. You should have better access to information needed for the account. I feel it is always better to work inhouse to get the feel for what they really want in their reports. I worked inhouse and then went home with an account. (12 years ago). I am just now getting secondary accounts from nationals and it is a lot different and a lot harder trying to figure out what is needed and wanted. With a my local account I can call any department in the hospital for help.
