Thank you, ProScript, for useful MT week gift (sm)

Too bad it doesn't have a 3-minute timer button (for those who get distracted online, to limit their search time) instead of the button for the time in Karachi.  (Look it up -- I'm so confident this service will never offshore, I can laugh about it.)

Proscript sent out gift cards (sm)
for dinner when we caught up a new account. Our transcription director is always writing encouraging and informative memos, though I do miss Rick's unique input.
MT Week Gift
On Saturday I received a very nice tri-fold tool kit (in pink no less) in a box with the company logo on it.  It is full of useful small tools and came with a note of appreciation.  I thought that was a rather considerate gesture of recognition.

Gift of gab is a gift in deed. Not having it has cost me dearly.
I became an MT because of my interest in medical field, fascination with the work and yes, a lack of social skills. I really did think that my work would speak for me.
Is there engineer week? Astronaut week? Veterinarian week?

Proscript
Proscript is a great company to work for!
Try www.proscript.com....sm
Best company around to work for
proscript
Just started with proscript and am still on QA but love it - they are fair and all parties are wonderful to deal with.
ProScript
Never heard of this company.
Where is it?

When you are happy with a company for so many years and things all of a sudden start getting bad it is time to look elsewhere.
Proscript
Anyone heard of Proscript or currently work for them.  Any input appreciated!
ProScript
I work for them, and I LOVE this company - they are GREAT!  You won't be sorry if you accept a position with them.
Proscript

Can anyone out there tell me how user friendly Proscript's platform is and if it is easy to attain your desired line count.  Any information appreciated.  Thanks!

Proscript Pay

Hi, my name is Laura also - I posted the first message, but not the second.  I was always told NOT to share my line rate info - therefore, would have said check with the recruiter.  Obviously, another Laura is giving out incorrect information.

Laura Denison

proscript
Great company - great people!
Proscript
My husband and I are both MTs. He got into ProScript on the last hiring boom which was at the end of last year. I'm in line waiting to get in with them when they have more work.

So far my husband is very happy with them. He is an employee (with benefits after 90 days, for which he just became eligible), and he can work whatever schedule he wants (M-F, T-S, etc.), as long as he maintains a full-time line count.

Proscript

I worked for Proscript for 3 years, but was laid off due to not enough work. I am waiting to be called back as it has been close to three months now...I am hoping work picks up soon!!! I would hope that they call back the people they laid off before they hire new employees.

ProScript (sm)
Nice travel alarm, plus looks like there are drawings this week for other stuff. Co gives out $50 prize monthly in a game as part of continuing ed.
Try ProScript...been with them for almost 2 years...sm
and have never run out of work - even during holidays. Great company to work for.
Feedback on Proscript?

Hi, again, O mighty MTs!

I don't know where I found it, but somewhere I ran across a company called ProScript out of Florida.  Does anybody know anything about them, good or bad?  Enquiring minds want to know...

ProScript lin rate

I suggest you contact the recruiter as the line rate mentioned here is not correct.  It's always better to call a recruiter because that is where you will get the most updated information.  Email employment@proscript.com.

anybody working for ProScript

Anybody working for ProScript?  Could you give your opinion.  Thanks.

ProScript Outsourcing
ProScript does outsource to India !.  Please see my post under ProScript "company board".
Been working at ProScript for a while and love it...sm
Platform is very similar to Word. If you have high speed internet you could probably get 1200 lines done in 4 hours or so (I guess that depends on how fast you type, though). I don't have high speed, but software tells me my typing time and it is usually between 3-1/2 and 4 hours for me to get 1000-1200 lines done.
Typically this week is a slow week in lots of places

because it is a big vacation week.  Typically things slow dow a bit in the summer too because people are putting off elective surgery, but at the same time lots of people going on vacation so it should balance out.

Lowest runs $900 week, highest $1400 week (sm)
Get paid 12 CPL. Been doing transcription for about 12 years.
I work 6 days a week every other week

Due to my company's payroll (it runs Sun-Sat), I'm able to work a rotating schedule with every other weekend off. Week 1 I work Sunday through Thursday with Fri, Sat, Sun off.  Week 2 I work Monday through Friday with Saturday only off.  Then I'm back to week 1 and get that following weekend off.

I've found that I'm more productive with shorter shifts and I have kids in school anyway, so I work a lot of split shifts during the week.  If possible, you might want to consider cutting back your hours to 30 hours and just work five 6-hour days in split shifts, 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening.

ProScript Documentation Services does not send work overseas or employ any overseas MTs. (nm)

I really don't know but the best gift I could get is what I have now and that is 2 of the most te
companies anyone could have to work for! Both companies are simply wonderful. It is very hard to find ONE company that is the best but to find TWO is too unreal and to me that is the best gift one could ask for. I feel so blessed when I read these boards and see all of the folks who are unhappy. Both companies I have are thoughtful and really care about their people. You really cannot ask for more than that. ;)
No x-mas gift

This will be my second Christmas with this company.  I did not receive anything last year so I don't expect to this year either.  Still, a good company to work for.

gift
I just sent a gift of food from Popcorn Factory. Will arrive the 19th. I appreciate who I work for. very much.
Gift for Mom
Go to Hometown Favorites.com - neat stuff!
MT gift
I received a very nice tote bag with the Transolutions' logo with a very nice card.  The bag has lots of pockets--love it!  Happy MT Week!
Did u get a gift?
I didn't. I guess technically we're not entitled to getting anything but it still would have been nice to get a card or something to show more appreciation for what we do. Just my thoughts. I think it depends on the size of the company.
gift
I scrapbook so of course I think in terms of pictures, momentos. How about a small scrabpook (4x6) filled with pics on great romantic paper. OH even has a scrapbook section. Check it out. Even if she doesn't scrap, you can buy kits that include everything you need and then put it together adding a few personal touches like journaling.
gift
When my husband returned from overseas I brought him a coffee cup filled with chocolate candies. The cup had an American flag on it. And a nice card. He really isn't going to be interested in the gift, so a token gift would be plenty. Enjoy your reunion!
Gift
I give my doctors cookie trays.  Somebody else suggested poinsettas.
Each day is a gift

and I do not say that lightly because my last week or so has sucked big-time donkey eggs. I said to my hubby this morning "Okay, honey, I'm leaving for the office now." He looked at me and cracked up because I was standing in the hallway in what he calls my "fart sack" a giant, several-sizes-too-big flannel nightgown. My kids are both home sick with mono and getting them through final exams and everything is going to be a challenge. The flip side of that is how lucky I am to work from home so that I can oversee their recovery and still earn a paycheck. I've resolved to try to find the silver lining in every cloud today.

By the way, those of you who saw my most on the gab board about DH's cellulitis, it seems to have miraculously started clear. I'm not getting cocky yet because he still has a pocket of infection near the top of his scar but he might be okay!

Gift
When my neighbors watch my cat while we're on vacation, I usually also get something from the place I visited.
gift
What is an appropriate gift ( reasonable ) to give a doctor's office that has a ton of employees ( I am an IC)? I feel I should give them something since I do appreciate the work, but do not want to spend a ton of $$. Thanks
thank you gift

We recently had a family reunion on my husband's side, hosted on 2 different days by 2 different cousins.  We want to send them both a nice gift for their gracious hosting.  Both families are in their 40s/50s, husband and wife.  Thanks for any ideas.

gift
I have sent a basket that has different cheeses, sausages and the mix.. You can get those pretty reasonable. I think the name of the place is Figi's?
How about a gift certificate for a
for a decadent say of self-indulgence. I wouldn't mind a massage right now and would LOVE it if someone bought me one. LOl
If they have hobbies, how about gift
their favorite stores? Also, sometime you might write them a letter telling them how you feel about them (if you are close and care about them a lot). Nothing like a genuine, heartfelt gift to make a girl cry....seriously. I still have a letter from my little brother from when he was in about 5th grade (he's 35 now with kids of his own) and it is just precious. Don't force it, though, only if you really mean it. Maybe even include pictures from when you were all kids.
