It is really comforting to know there are others out there like me who realize what it takes and have achieved success. I totally agree with your observations, but I suppose that those who want the "cushy" jobs in their younger years will find themselves in other jobs soon enough...it just does not work like that when you're starting out. One of the radiologists I work with on my current 'main' job has shared with me that he had to learn the hard way...that outsourcing is a NIGHTMARE and in the end cost him MORE money, not less, in terms of time he had to take to completely revamp all of his reports because they were so bad. There are still many doctors who care about quality and who will pay for it...sigh...they just have to learn the hard way.
Thank you for your kind words regarding my new job. I am looking forward to yet another challenge.
