I certainly value experience but what if all 15 years of one's experience was in an easy-peasy hospital or they didn't receive feedback and were doing things wrong for YEARS? You hit the nail right on the head. The most valuable MT is the one who jumps right in with both feet and is always learning, eager to learn, and willing to be corrected.
