The BEST earbuds ever!

I just wanted to share the ONE piece of equipment that has changed everything for me.  From doctors who whisper, to doctors who talk in noisy backgrounds, and if you have your own background noise at your workstation you need to cancel out...these things absolutely ROCK!

They are expensive but oh so worth it.  They fit right in your ear canal and suddenly the world on the outside is silent, but in your ear the dictator comes in crystal clear as if they were right in your head!  They are super comfortable.  I can't say enough good things about the company...after 2 years of daily use, one side went dead.  I called the company for advice and AT NO CHARGE they sent me an entirely new set.  These things are lifesavers for clearly hearing ESL dictations as well.

Okay, that's all I wanted to say.  Tootles!

earbuds
Hey. Can you tell me what they look like. My ears are really sensitive and right now using telescope stype earphones, but the sound quality is horrible.

THANKS SO MUCH
Earbuds
Thanks for the info on the earbuds. Do you know if they work with any type of system? I couldn't find an answer on their website. I use Dictaphone ExText for which I plug in Dictaphone earphones into my hard drive.
Earbuds ----
These can be purchased on ebay (new with guarantee) for half the price.
I use Sony earbuds
Bought them (Radio Shack, $59) specifically to use with my iPod, but I tried them and love them for transcription. They come with three different-sized rubber pieces to fit your ears and block out noise. I tried all three before settling on the smallest one. Warning...they block noise so well that I almost had a heart attack when DD came for a visit and appeared out of nowhere. She said she rang the doorbell, but I never heard it. I also can't hear the the keyboard clicking or the grandfather clock bonging or the phone ringing or the dogs barking or DH hollering....love these earbuds!
I posted about these earbuds once before

If you need SERIOUS quality, nothing compares to these babies.  They block out ALL background noise (when I'm working, I don't hear NUTHIN' with these in, and husband has to tap me on the shoulder to get my attention!), and they pick up those ultra-fine nuiances that other ear pieces would ordinarily miss.  Great for dictators who whisper, incredibly awesome for ESL, and totally kickass for listening to tunes while walking.  They have a standard jack at the end that I plug directly into my speaker and the cord is about 5 feet long, so there's plenty of freedom of movement.

Yep, they are expensive, but the time and frustration they have saved me has greatly outweighed the cost.  It is THE BEST PIECE of work gear I have invested in and will praise them whenever this topic comes up.

earbuds or headphones?
I have been wearing earbuds for the past two years.  For the most part they are comfortable, once in a while I'll get sore, but the wiring is getting messed up so I have to get a new set anyway.  I just wanted to get other's opinions on what they use, earbuds or headphones?  I can't imagine long term use of earbuds could be good for the cartilage??    So I was thinking about going to a nice set of headphones.  I'd like to hear what you all prefer and opinions. thanks!!
Earbuds for new head set?

My headset seems to be muffling the voice lately. Should I try the earbud style?

Are the ear buds comfortable?  My current headset (Dictaphone round type) hurts my ears and I would rather do without, but need to blank out noise around the house.

Any other ideas?

TIA

I love my Bose earbuds!
They are definitely worth every penny.
I recently bought the Etymotic-6 earbuds also . . .
and am very pleased with them.  They are not uncomfortable, but do make my ears itch a little.  I bought them on ebay, much cheaper than web site.
etymotic-6 earbuds versus Shure E3? sm
Has anyone tried the Shure E3 earbuds? I have read the sound quality is just as good but they are more comfortable than the etymotic-6 earbuds.  Can anyone shed any light?
I have a pair of the earbuds (cheap ones) and they hurt my ears.
I couldn't wear them very long.
