This is so far from being right!

Yes, online dating services DO have some strange people signed up. And YES, there are also some good men and women on those sites. I have met three of the best men I've ever had in my life in the last four years since my divorce, and I met them all at an online dating service. I find that doing that gives you a chance to chat with someone before meeting them face to face. You get to know a little about them first. It often gives you an idea of whether you really want to meet them face to face or not. Don't categorize all people who prefer to use technology to their advantage in the dating scene as losers, simply NOT a true statement.

I also think, on the topic of loneliness, that it's important that you FIRST learn to love being with yourself. As corny as that may sound, I believe it is only when we love ourselves first that we are attractive to someone else. I do understand the loneliness after divorce, as I went through that four years ago. Yet, it is also a time to redefine who you are and what you want in life! Hang in there! There are some great men out there, they just have to find you!
