I was subcontracting with a company and also had some of my own accounts.  They never had me sign a non competitive clause/contract and when one of their accounts was unhappy with them, they did come to me and I took it. Also at one time I told the owner that I was sending out brochures and was sending to some of their accounts and she again said, no problem.  So as long as you have not signed a contract stating that you will not compete with them and have been subcontracting with them, I would contact the clinic.  It looks as though the company could close anyway with what has been going on and it would be up for grabs.   Also, as long as the CLINIC DOES NOT HAVE A CONTRACT WITH THE COMPANY THAT THEY WON'T GO WITH ANYONE THAT IS WORKING FOR THEM.  But a phone could not hurt.   If you don't take it someone else will.  I have been a subcontractor and a small MTSO so that is my two cents worth.
