Has anyone dealt with transcription matchmaker.com?  and if so, good or bad experience? what type of a match did you come out with?, still employed there?  All info is much, much appreciated.
Thinking of getting a little help with hope for something good that will last and make my life happy again.  Not having good luck on my own.  It's like looking for a needle in a haystack and going from the frying pan into the fire.  Thought maybe matchmaker can give me the inside scoop before getting involved.

  Thanks for your info.

TM's preemployment test sucks - 3 of 4 reports were the kind you want to drop a bomb on when you get them at your regular job - inappropriate for a preemployment test.  Also, I can get these same gigs on my own, thanks.
 What is Transcription Matchmaker?
Is this legit or a scam?

Has anyone ever heard of or used them?

Thanks for any info! Transcription Matchmaker
Can you tell me what the problems are with this company? I'd seriously like to know - was going to contact them..

 Thanks.

In  the past, they tended to work with most of the companies who advertise on the majority of the MT job boards anyway.  They try to 'match your skills" with what the company may be looking for etc., but really just best in the long run to do the search on your own. Here is the information that, I believe, another poster had mentioned, but didn't know where to go to find the service.   Transcription Matchmaker

As IC you pay the whole 15.3%, as employee you pay 7.65 and employer contributes the other 7.65%. You deduct half of self-employment on taxes.

This isn't finished yet, but it is a free online version of MT style, created by experienced MTs. When it's done, you won't need any version of the BOS.

It is an Adesso PCK-308UB. There is also one that uses a PS/2 plug, but I want this one so I can use it with my laptop if I need it. From what I have read, it is basically like a touchpad on a laptop so you don't need a mouse. I probably would not use it for regular web surfing or anything, mainly just for mousing while transcribing.
