I was with a company where the QA would change the content of what was being dictated and would "ding" me all the time. The last time she actually changed the meaning of the sentence. I was hot! I wrote the company and said "how can I pass QA if she's not following what the doc types?" They encouraged me to "hang in there". I thought about it - wrote the company "I will not compromise my ethics by changing what the doc says just to pass QA" You have a right to be upset, but remember too that e-mails are very impersonal and could be the first thing she thought of to type.
