If you are the Whitney who e-mailed with encouragement and job info, THANK YOU!  I finally did land a job with a good company and good pay. I was starting to think it wasn't possible for a newbie until I heard from you, and you were right!  Thanks again for taking the time!

Whitney.......
None of the people you name here have talent - they have volume. Their voices have no range, they don't know how to phrase and they have no clue about how to deliver a song. All they do is grimace, do pelvic thrusts and move around.

I don't know how old you are, but to say Barbra Streisand had no competition back in the 1960s and 1970s is grossly ignorant. Those 2 decades were full of great singers from both sexes.
I love Whitney Houston's ballads, but

I know how high she can go and often times, the Idol judges don't like when the contestants sing her stuff, because they just aren't her.

Best of luck to your daughter!

this show certainly should not feed bobby brown's ego. it makes him look foolish and whitney nut
his only claim to fame pitifully enough is he is married to whitney houston and looking at whitney in the depths of her insanity, that's really not much of a claim.
How about Whitney (pre-Bobby Brown/druggie days), Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey?
better than Streisand too. When she was big she had no competition and the world didn't expect as much out of its entertainers. Think about it.
