Frankly, except for the cardioversion, none of them seem too different from what we have here. I waited 2 months for an ultrasound after an abnormal mass was found on mammo. At least once a week, I type somebody that has waited over the weekend to have orthopedic surgery. And a 6-month wait is not out of line for an MRI. Perhaps the fact that some people expect an MRI even time they get a bruise has something to do with why healthcare costs are through the roof here.

Obama's plan is by even wild estimates expected to cost between 50-55 billion a year (not your fictional number). If we hadn't thrown away $580 billion in Iraq, everybody could have had healthcare for the last 10 years.

But, and it's almost amusing, the conservative elements, who like to pride themselves on being God-fearing and morally superior, seem to be pretty darn selfish. As long as you've got your health care, you don't give a dang what happens to anyone else, huh?
