kind of landlocked myself, but by choice, as I live in the Sierras. I am less than 2 hours away from SF, so when we get the urge to go to the ocean, we pack up and go. I'm only 1 hour from Tahoe and Reno and that's kind of fun too. I don't think I'd trade my beloved CA for any other state. It can be crowded, but I LOVE the climate.
