but it is a good idea to have a back up plan, and never put all your eggs in one basket. I forgot to mention that I had another family practice doc go EMR years ago and he is still dictating (he is one I mentioned to Allscript doc), although his PA-C and ARNP stopped dictating. So, there is always the possibility they will dictate as usual and cut/paste their own notes, like my two EMR docs! Good luck.
