why does it matter if we follow rules that the MDs have never heard of if many of the MDs are producing their own reports and, I can only assume, not following any of those rules? Aren't they putting patient names in since some of them dictate the names multiple times in the reports? Is an Editor going through every report for such HIPAA issues? Is she correcting "dangerous abbreviations"? I really doubt that would be an efficient use of time! So I just don't get it.
