account on your own? You must have made a fortune, just 'flying' through the impeccable draft that the VR put out for you?

Why did you not wait, at least, until the account was taken away from you?

I do not get you!

MT is not always the most lucrative business to be in-sm
and it is also not necessarily for everyone who graduates a course.  I wish you the best in a new career sincerely.  I don't think this career is worth the bother unless you've landed a gravy job where you can average a couple to a few hundred lines per hour.  The pay is so lousy that you are doomed to work long frustrating hours otherwise.  I wish anyone who has the opportunity to do better and get out the best.  If I could drive and get out of the house, I would be right there with you!
Nursing is more lucrative
I still do both and will say that you have the potential to make a lot more money as an RN.  I prefer doing MT but can't come close to the salary I earn as a nurse, unfortunately.  If money is your goal, I think your husband has the right idea.
is that a good lucrative position or just fun?
it's kind of like scrapbooking isn't it? like cherished memories?
ditto this suggestion. Thats what Ive got and its much more lucrative. nm

I've found it more lucrative to charge .... sm

... by the report, although others might disagree.  $1.10 to $1.25 is average when working as an employee.  If you're working as an IC you really should charge more, considering your overhead, etc... and make sure you charge for every report, not page.  For instance a report that includes more than one requisition, such as a foot and ankle, would be two reports.  If the radiologist is getting paid for each study(which they certainly are), then so should you.

Hope this helps !

They're not going to give up a lucrative account
Yes, the amount of lousy dictators seem to grow every day.  The MTSO will focus on finding MT's that can and will type them, and keep the account vs cater to one good MT, IMO.
