Hi,
Yes, I work for a company who uses Emdat and I actually like the program. I am able to use ShortHand with it and it is Word based as well. However, you might have a different experience with it. Even though other companies use the program they may require that you enter header information. I don't have to where I work, just the medical record number. I guess it depends on how the company sets it up.
