You can always say no.  If the benefits and money are too good to give up, then you would do it, but don't forget, it is ALWAYS your choice.  I have been doing this now for 35+ years, and I know things have changed drastically, but I learned about 10 years or so ago that I don't have to do anything I don't want to do - one of the more valuable lessons I've learned.  Good luck in whatever you decide.
