Venting is good. You are not alone. I've had some dictators like her. When I worked at a hospital, it was her type that was most frequently outsourced. There were MTs that worked directly for the hospital, so the better dictations were kept for us. The HIM director didn't even bother to talk with these extremely difficult dictators, get them assistants or anything like that. Apparently, the company that they were outsourcing to did not complain, either. It seems to me that the reason why we get these kinds of dictations is simply because, for some reason unknown to me, bad dictators are tolerated too easily. If I were in charge, the bad dictators would be fined, while the very clear and pleasant ones would be fairly rewarded.
