a little overboard

with the flea collars tags and leashes, but yes generally you have stated exactly what is happening, they have been rendering dead cows and processing them back into the cow food, same principal for our companion animals. It is a horrible practice that many never even think of, I certainly did not until someone pointed it out to me, so I hope you take this just as an information sharing situation and do with it what you may. The increased cost of holistic animal food is worth it as in the long run your vet bills will be kept down with less illness and allergy problems.

come on, aren't you going a little overboard here sm
I welcome the disagreement, I know everyone feels differently, BUT I too am entitled to my own opinion, and I simply pointed out a problem that I have seen here, and it's embarassing to ME personally to be "associated" with these negative people. I'm sorry if that offends you so much. Maybe fool was too harsh, maybe I should have said something like childish or bitter, I don't know. I just stated my own opinion, and don't care who agrees with it or who doesn't.
It is not overboard. I am on my way out to dinner
with my famileeeee but when I get back, I will post the links, I promise. I could not believe this myself. But think about it - the vets and vet techs that euthanize the animals - they don't sit their and remove the collars at all before the job, and they don't bother when its done. I could not believe this stuff myself, so I understand your skepticism. The flea collars and dog tags and entire animals just dissolve in acid, so it doesn't matter to the processing company. It takes time to remove collars, and $$, remember? And the anesthesia used to euthanize the animals - according to the vets themselves who are trying to abolish this and expose the truth - it does not break down in the dead animals and does not evaporate in the acid. So that explains why dogs sometimes act weird - dopey, tired, wired, you name it. Its a gross industry, and pure evil in that they don't disclose to us what we should know. Lots of consumers don't care - if they can save $10 on a bag of dog food, they're happy with the source. But we should be able to make informed choices. I assure you, sadly I am not over the top on this one! When I come back, I'll post many links, but you could easily find this info on Google. That's the #1 problem with the plan that the dog food companies didn't foresee - all the extra chemicals and drugs that would be absorbed in their dog food.
It is that "reborn Christian" thing where they go overboard and make new rules LOL
