referring to different eras. you might as well make fun of us for not using the microwave, even though it had not been invented yet. We were taught to tag toes in case of disasters. We were not paid by the line, there was no cue unless you meant the one hanging behind the chinaman's head, so there was no throwing it back, you had people waiting for those reports. We actually went into patient rooms to retrieve charts because of time constraints (no OT) because there were only limited electronics, and there was not even an existent MTSO back then, so there was no one else to type these things. To tell you the truth, I think overall people were more trustworthy then than they are now; after all, we did not have AC when I was a kid and everybody slept with the windows open and the doors, too. you respected other peoples space back then. Everything has not been an improvement.
