 Just because you have CMT after your name really does not mean a whole lot in MHO.  It means you passed a test, you know a lot of words and/or definitions to words, but none of that automatically makes you a good Transcriptionist ! I've seen deplorable work by so called CMTs and also superior work from girls right out of school. I think this CMT thing has been blown way out of proportion...it is still no guarantee that a company will get a good MT just because she has a few letters after her name....and if a person gets hired because of the CMT status and the company believes whole-heartedly they will get consistently good, nearly error-free, quick work from said person because they hold that title, they are delusional.
