The only problem I would see if the hours.  Generally in college you go Mon-Wed-Fri or Tues-Thurs (you can go all 5 days but it doesn't give much time for studying, been there, done that).  The benefit would be most hospitals will reimburse you for your classes if your grades are good.  The other benefit would be of course the benefits.  Even with little kids, you'd have more time off the rest of the week and that's always a plus.  It would also get you ready for a nursing schedule, which routinely is three 12-hour days per week.
