Maybe it's because, with the exception of the poor dictators, I don't have those problems, but maybe it is because these are real people's medical records...but I do care about loyalty and quality. I don't think the QA people are any of the ugly things you say they are just because they expect us to do our job and do it well!! All those reasons you gave are just a bad excuse to be a piss-poor transcriptionist. If you hate it that much, find another career!
