The answer is "no". You may be hired before someone else, but as far as pay, you may get a fraction of a cent and I'm not saying this lightly. Just talked to a company - maybe to switch jobs. 25 years under my belt and they offered me the same money I am making plus 1 cent more a line if I was a CMT - this does not add up to a hill of beans in my book. The companies don't care about you... only themselves.
