You don't say if you are typing clinic or not? Clinic is notorious for this sort of thing...low pay with experience, crappy dictators, etc. I have over a dozen years into this business, 2/3 in clinic and the rest in acute care. Acute care was then the best decision I have ever made in my MT career. Plenty of work, some poor dictators, some great such that it evens out. Line rates are better. I recently left a place that didn't pay for headers or footers to one that did and for more money per line.

If you have changed jobs a few times as I have you know that the grass is not always greener on the other side. However, when you are faced with so much grief, it is bound to be a lot greener in a new job. Look around, switch positions. Plenty of people are hiring out there.

As a side note, if you don't have at least 8000 to 10,000 expansions you are not making the best of your expander. In fact, in acute care you need double that. I actually know someone who has 35,000 short cuts!

There always seems to be someone who doesn't mind when the work completely sucks and they can do what you are doing. Move along and I wish you all the luck and good fortune.

I only caught bits and pieces of it, but sm

I didn't see anything offensive that should generate such a stink.  My BIGGEST gripe is with people who come out hating something, expressing an opinion about something they have never even SEEN!

The little bit I saw, it looked like a man dealing with "normal" family situations -- let's face it, it is not unusual nowadays to have a gay son, or become addicted to prescription meds, etc. -- ministers are not immune.   I am a Christian and love the Lord, and I was not offended by anything on the show.  And even if I was, it is not my place to tell others what they can and cannot watch.  We all get to "vote" with the flick of a channel.

I read bits of how the interview went. It will be sad for sure.
