Serving Over 20,000 US Medical Transcriptionists

no way

Just can't imagine having to work more than 40 hours per week transcribing, the thought makes my wrists hurt, and I've been at this 30+ years. I deliberately work second shift, which has always pretty much assured me plenty of work. Seriously, you have to decide what's most important in your life. I agree wholeheartedly with the idea that you have to have goals, long and short term, and don't get into any debt you don't have to, seriously. I'm divorced with no kids so have never had to worry about financing anyone else's dreams/ideas and thank God, no extra medical bills, hope I stay healthy. My goal is to get my house paid off soon, and it won't be a problem. I also have been able to help the niece and nephews somewhat financially from time to time. The company can have me for 40 hours per week and no more if I can help it, I need my 2 days off per week for sanity's sake. We're going faster and faster to nowhere, if you ask me, in our business.
