Foul posts are not coming from me. There is a troll among us. Please do not feed the troll.

I will ban and delete as necessary. Moderators are also keeping watch.  We apologize for the inconvenience of this troublemaker.  If you have any questions, feel free to email me directly.

It depends on my mood.

I like classical, instrumental, Celtic or New Age if I need to relax.  Rock, pop, 80's music, techno dance, or fast country if I need to get revved up.  DH got me a new stereo for my birthday, so I can put in 5 CDs at a time.

Is someone in a bad mood today?
nm
Either, depends on the day and the mood!
nm
My doc took me off of HRT because of the mood swings. sm
He put me on Elavil instead and the mood swings are gone. My poor husband. Put up with those mood swings for 15 years..... Needs a halo.
Here's my take (I'm not in the mood for bashing, either!)

I enjoy belonging to AAMT because they keep me informed about what is going on in the industry. I live in a rather rural area and we do have a small component chapter in our area which I also like, as it helps me stay connected with people in this profession in my particular area (networking).  Our meetings are not held on Saturdays, so the other poster who said that may have experienced that, but not in my area.

I do enjoy going to the symposiums--they are not that expensive and I learn a great deal as well as network with other people in my state.  That is priceless, in my opinion.

I also like being involved with a professional association, as I take my profession seriously and want to associate myself with the professional association, and AAMT is it in that regard.  If there were other choices, I might feel differently.

Are they perfect?  Heck, no!  But, the members do elect the people who make the decisions and therefore I feel my voice does get heard.  Do they always do what I want?  No, but no organization would, as everyone has different opinions.

I think it is a personal choice.  I've been in MT for 25+ years and a member of AAMT for the past 12.  I make a very good wage, and yes, I do get compensated for my CMT, though I understand many do not.  I am proud to be a member and plan to keep up my membership as long as I feel my needs are being met which is networking, continuing education, etc.

depends on what mood I'm in

Boy aren't we in a mood

I have too much time on my hands for asking for opinions, yet you are perusing the forums using your TIME?

When you see a company who posts for jobs nearly every day, you wonder anyway what the deal is and this HUGE company with a person making such disgusting statements might have wanted to know why they aren't able to hire and cover the accounts.

Question for those who think the mood here is
Is this how a conversation would go face to face? Would it degenerate into calling one another immature and letting out a great bit yawn, etc? Wouldn't we have a little more restraint when we gave our opinion. I just don't get that part of cyber-communication.

I'm not in the mood to do battle with a person
who thinks they have all the answers.  Suffice it to say that obviously you don't  have any insight or answers or you wouldn't have issues where you sit and call all others "fools" because they don't agree with your opinions/solutions/problems.  This world is just to big and interesting with so much to learn to do battle with a smug person who thinks they know it all.  Simply put, carry on in your IMAGINATION that you got all of us MQMTs and we are forever conquered by your great wealth of knowledge on the proper way to post and handle MQ problems.  In other words, WHATEVER  floats your boat queenie.
Mood and affect are normal

sorry to wreck your holiday mood
but i personnally like to be aware of what is going on around me. We can be thankful on this 4th of July that we are still free -- obviously, many in this world would like to change that. We all need to remain vigilant in our awareness, preparedness and voting for the politicians who will be mindful of our enemies.
ASR funny to lighten the mood...sm
Must be the bitter winters. LOL

Allergies/intolerances - sulfa and Minnesota.

Should be sulfa and Minocin.

DUH? Thats common sense. Not in the mood that day, so chose to be

My sincere apologies. Was just in a goofy mood
and it struck me funny. Sorry.
I hope tomorrow's better, too! Bad mood today!

Troll!
my original post regarding this is gone, so here I go again! In a nutshell, what I stated before...WOMEN should dress like WOMEN, girls like girls, etc. I am not saying that just because one reaches a certain age, thats it, no more sexy clothes, clevage, etc. I am saying, though, that WOMEN should not dress like GIRLS in order to look sexy and feel sexy.  I am 36, and dont dress like my 14 YOD...and I look dang sexy sometimes. But, I dont wear booty shorts, belly shirts, etc, etc...personally, I dont think that looks good on anyBODY... no matter how small, tall, big, short you are...I guess my point is women should dress like women, not girls...dont know how else to say it... Good day...
Obviously a troll
or other troublemaker.
A troll?

Troll (SM)
Just ignore the troll, posters.

Information has been reported to AOL for violation of their Terms of Service.

These individuals who post in this manner are usually very bored, angry, friendless, and anti-social (as we can all agree upon).

They are here to simply cause problems. Just ignore them and they will go away out of sheer boredom. If you will report the posts, I will delete them.

Really, I truly feel sorry for someone who has nothing better to do, don't you?

Goldbird
And yet here's another troll above...
Boy, they're really coming out from underneath their bridges tonight aren't they?  LOL...Shoo troll!
Go away little troll.
No one cares a fig about what you have to say.  Now poof!  Be gone you little gnat!
who is the troll?
you, on the other hand, are calling Miss Webster a troll for no apparent reason, you are using the head bash picture to reply to Miss Webster. Miss Webster is trying to reason with the OP in stating she did in fact not pass the tests and that is part of the problem. How does that make her a troll? Can you now see how your post makes you look like a troll and you are speading judgment?
what a troll you are!
Please reread your message.  I am an i d i o t? (and you must have posted twice because this is a "bad" word on the board).  Bad integrity?  I think you should look in the mirror first before trolling.  But hey, this is America and you are entitled to your opinion.  Have a nice day.
No, she's just being a troll.
This is the type of MT who makes our profession look bad.

No matter what you say to her, she'll have some answer that she obviously thinks is too cute. She'll never agree because her sole purpose for posting is to get attention. Good or bad...it's still attention.

I really wish the moderators could ban people for just being troublemakers.
Jan, seriously, let it go. It's a troll, just let it be.
All of your ranting isn't going to deter him/her; quite the opposite.
maybe i am just a troll
and like to get sh*t started.
Just because someone gives a different POV does not make them a troll. nm
.
Ignore her, she is just being a troll!

Please do not feed the troll.

What does this mean, I will not feed the troll?

braggin' troll

now that wasn't really necessary was it?

take your own advice! troll. nm
nm
troll post perhaps?
hmmmmm ?
I don't think QALady is a troll at all.
She's frustrated and it's coming across as hostility. She's a serious QA pro who is trying to share her knowledge and enthusiasm, and maybe needs to step back a bit.

I wish, I wish, I wish there was an organized MQ QA online site that could include our questions, and also list QALady's resources, along with those of the many other helpful QA'ers who post here. The whole QA/Qasar process seems very chaotic to me at this point, and I believe it's causing a backlash against QA in general. (Seriously, I can't believe we're not allowed to e-mail QA directly about concerns--that benefits no one).

At any rate, the timing might be bad about giving out resources for figuring out where we can get the proper spelling for a physician, when most of us are still reeling from the pay cut and other assorted bad news of the last couple of weeks. I hope the MTs and the QA'ers can figure out how to work as a team after all this plays out.
No kidding. Ignore the troll.
x
Oh, geez. This is a troll! LOL Pay no attention!!
LOL
I swear a troll or someone just throws these Q's out to see

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
In internet terminology, a troll is a person who posts inflammatory messages on the internet, such as on online discussion forums, to disrupt the discussion or to upset its participants. The word, or its variant, "trolling", is also used to describe such messages or the act of posting them.
