there are free downloads out there to try, look at kymkomando's website, she offers several, has a lot of advice, and has an a.m. talk show on sundays. you can get spybot doctor, lavasoft and avira, and antivirus and firefox firewall protector. and you need to run these on at least a weekly basis. all other things considered, you may have to bite the big one and get a new harddrive.
