I don't know what companies you've worked for do this, but the last time I had to wait for a check (3 weeks max) was when I had my own business. Since then, with IC status, I've always received my check when it's supposed to arrive.

If you tell me the payroll is the 15th and 30th of the month, then I expect you to uphold the contract.
