I had been an employee at a hospital.  I was SE with a national and we had to go to employee.  My tax person is really good and she has found ways to save me money with my present job so I'm sure she would do the same if I went IC.  My biggest concern was that it was going to be a little lower than what I am making now and I have almost 11 years experience, but some companies have a set rate.  I know I would enjoy the flexibility a little more than what I have now.  There would be no weekends and I might have to do the majority of it at night but it would only be for 4 hours.  its just so hard to find everything in 1 package these days.  I'm eventually thinking my own clients someday soon just to get out of the rat race.  Nothing worthwhile is easy!
