Shorter and not sweeter. Take your own advice.
Bye-bye.
One has longer lines and shorter reports
Really comes out equal.
Might be less stress/shorter program being an EKG tech. nm

My experience has been that the shorter the reports, the more my line count suffers, UNLESS
You have docs who truly repeat themselves day in and day out. Then you can clean up and make some real money with having all kinds of normals. Otherwise, I have found that it slows me down to no end to listen to the stuttering, slow ESLs who never say the same thing and where you feel as if you are typing with just your thumbs. Sorry. :_(
I prefer working a shorter shift 6 to 7 days a week. SM
I work hard when I work to put out a lot of lines per hour, which is very tiring. Also, my company has a work flow/volume problem, and this allows me to schedule my hours for those times when work is most likely to be available.

Regarding having a life, in a 24-hour day, subtracting say 8 hours for sleep leaves 16 hours, and subtracting 6 hours for work leaves 10 hours every day for "life," a luxuriance of time if you don't have young children or other heavy responsibilities filling them with other work.

The trick (sometimes it is a trick!) is be firm with yourself, and others, and get the work out of the way briskly and on schedule, such as those early-morning or evening and split schedules, and not drag it out through the entire day, sandwiched in between TV shows, phone chats, family duties, and so on.
Okay Mrs. Smarty pants.......
Administration is taking note and we are doing nothing wrong so nothing will be done! We are 2 different people - DUH!!!!!!

Thought I was gonna pee my pants!

Actually slacks means casual pants.
I am hoping the posters meant dress pants ; ) That's what I have always worn; black dress pants with a matching jacket and a pastel colored top to break up all the black and mid-heel dress shoes. A manicure is a must and natural makeup, nothing too heavy or bright. ; )
And make sure the pants aren't 5 sizes too big! sm
I've seen so many teenaged boys go for interviews wearing khaki pants.....but khaki pants made for Fat Albert. Drives me nuts.
No, I am not the original poster, smarty-pants!
xx
I wear comfy thermal pants and tank tops. sm

see no need to look professional, feel professional, in the privacy of my home.  My work is professional, and that is what they get.

Even when I am what would be considered unkempt, I make a terrific line count.

Hey, today's my moms 60th b-day, too. I got her a pair of khaki capri pants
with a purple print belt and a matching purple top along with some socks.  My teenage daughter gave her a homemade necklace made of light green stones and a shell that she got while on the beach in San Diego this summer.  My nephew gave her a dreamcatcher and the dog gave her some vanilla international coffee.  We took her to the Elephant Bar for lunch and gave her the gifts.  She had a great time and so did we.
Anyone work 7 days a week with shorter work

I have arthritis in a couple of places, and I'm having a lot of trouble making it rhrough 8-hour days, even with split shifts, and I end up working most weekends anyway to make up for my decreasing production durng the longer days. I'm wondering if I should just commit to seven 5-1/2 hours days and be done with it.

Sorry, I don't wear "smarty pants." I wear thongs. Hehehe

How about the Brawny commercial where the guy looks like he has a roll of Brawny in his pants?
