some docs voices are hypnotic, does anyone agree? Some of the voices I could listen to all day, they seem almost hypnotic. Does anyone else experience this, or am I just crazy?

female voices
I don't cringe, but if there is no accent and I can't understand a word it is usually with a female dictator. I have noticed this for years, too. Something about the tone I think. I've had some that are really soft talkers, and that is hard, but the overall tone for me is harder than a deeper male voice. I also have some that do rattle off standard dictation like a physical like you mentioned, and that's annoying unless I have some sort of macro made for them.

On a funny note, I've worked for two different companies who had call-in systems that would hang up on one of their female doctors in the middle of dictation because her voice would hit the exact tone of #5 on the keypad, which was to disconnect and the computer thought they had pushed it.
You're obviously having enough fun with yourself and all the voices in your head.
You play nice now.
That is so cute, hearing voices. nm

This man had to be hearing voices in his head or have
other psychotic problem. The scariest part is that he was able to behave normally while all this was going on in his head. He was just a time bomb waiting to go off, apparently with no outward signs.

I only listen to the voices in my head ;)
I gotta have total quiet, hence the type of earbuds I chose...they block EVERYTHING out.  I'm an easily distracted person though.
I work for a national. Most of the time the voices are pretty good, but

I have been getting some of late that have background noices, door slamming, people talking,  Sometimes the doc will stop talking but the noices sound so close to him that it is annoying.  Do you think the sound card would interfere with my company's computer?  It sounds nice to have even though it does not help the background stuff.   I guess that is a good question for tech.  Thanks again!

Brava! Brava! There ARE other voices of reason here! SM
But I fear this will fall on deaf ears/blind eyes. The truth hurts, too.
