RI? I finished their test last week and turned it in, but haven't heard anything back. Just wondering if they tend to take longer to reply back. I have been so use to a quick turn around of sorry... you did not pass.

Also with Med-Tech Resources. Tested with them about 2 weeks ago and haven't heard a thing.

Thanks
Jenn

I tested
I tested with RI, and I got a fail in about 3 days, so maybe it means you passed, and they're just trying to find a spot for you.
Nope I have not tested yet
I'm going through to see to what companies I would like to apply with.  Any suggestions?
Have you tested yet with any companies to see how well

Have you tested for any companies yet? If so how did you
do, how do you think you did.   Just because you finished a course and have a certificate or diploma doesn't mean you got a good education.   You aren't going to make good money as a newbie so you can give up the thought about getting paid well.  I pay for MTs keeps going down.  Even if you have 10+ years of experience you aren't going to be making $40,000/year unless you have a very good platform, good dictators, lots of expansions, and you can type super fast.
That's part of what you're being tested for
Your tests are not just about getting the right words in the right places. You're also being tested on how to use your reference materials, not on how other people do it. Tests are to find out what you know, not what other people know. The goal is an education for you, not to test people who are already employed.
Have you tested with Focus Infomatics?
If you pass their test, they will hire you. Even if you don't pass, if you come close they will hire you in a mentor program for a few weeks, pay you 1/2 pay, and then pay you full pay as soon as you can achieve 98% accuracy.
It is true. Those have tested and meet AAMT's minimum requirements
The Approval Process does mean something to me. It means that those schools have been tested and at least meet the minimum requirements, according to AAMT's standards. It doesn't say if they have gone over and beyond those minimum standards, but people in the industry know that already.
