I agree that the cost of living here is outrageous. We are actually moving out of the area in July because we refuse to pay the housing costs here anymore. It is just not worth it. But I do not get paid more because the cost of living is higher here. I contract with a company in Floria. They pay all their MTs the same regardless of where they live. You will find this with any national company. I tried to contact several of the local MTSOs here in the NW, but I didn't get a response from any of them.
