I have taken the course and found it very difficult to do on my own. If you want to spend that amount of money, you are better off to sign up at a school that offers it in your town. Don't waste your money on ATP. Also the rules they give you for the course, is very confusing, especially when it comes to grammar. It seems they cannot make up their mind on rules. I haven't applied for any job yet because I just got my diploma, but I wouldn't recommend it.
