Venting

I can feel your pain. I graduated from MT school about 4 months ago. I have put in dozens of applications, sent numerous resumes and passed endless amounts of tests. I have 1 year experience under my belt and i still am unable to find work. Like you I have visited or called every doctor's office within 30 miles of my home with no luck. I understand this can be a tough market to break into but everyone starts somewhere. I have even applied for companies that say 0-1 year experience pass the tests and never hear from them. I will keep you in my prayers and hope things get better for you.

Venting - bad MT program
Don't feel bad - I got caught up in two bad programs - not to say I didn't learn anything, but ---- I'm just finishing my 3rd program.  I never did finish the first two because I was so frustrated - DETERMINIATION!!!!
Venting and Searching

Okay, I need to vent.  I've been at this study now for 1 1/2 years and am SOOO ready to be done with it.  I have become so frustrated with the online course that I am taking.  I get the hint they are severely understaffed, having to wait sometimes 2 weeks to get one transcript graded and back to me.  Now, I am ready to submit a transcript that they require a 90% target accuracy rate on and I need to ask them questions.  I have submitted 2 e-mails and called them now 3 times, only being allowed to leave messsages which noone will return.  They grade everything with such inconsistencies that it's impossible to know what to do anymore.  I need to know from them if they will mark me off for adding headings to a HISTORY AND PHYSICAL EXAMINATION or mark me off if I don't add them (I have been marked off for both).  And the doctor has put blood work in a separate paragraph than the physical exam.  I know I will not get a 90% and they will mark me off either way, so I wanted to get some advice from someone at the school!!!  BTW, this is Allied and I know they are hated here on this board.  I am just trying to do the best with what I have gotten and they are making it increasingly difficult!!  Thanks!

Just Venting!! Thanks for reading

How come we spend our time and our money to go to school for this for something that is such a high demand for and we cant get a job doing it??

This is messed up.

Venting-- my not-so-good MT Program

I'm about to graduate (next quarter) from an MT Program that is very flawed. I didn't know any better to start with, but I do now. I will complete the program since I have invested a year into it; however, I am really feeling alone. I receive no feedback whatsoever (only grades) from the instructor, and the material has some serious errors in it (which the teacher is unwilling to address). I started working through the BOS student workbook on my own, and I'm finding there is so much missing from this program that I'm frustrated. I feel like now have to learn all the things that I should have learned (paid to learn) on my own.

Frustrating!!!
