What organization is the CPC from?

Mildred, maybe we're confused about which certification this is. Is this an AHIMA certification or an AAPC certification? Another organization?

Where did you go to take the exam and how was it given? Paper and pencil? On a computer? In Thomson Prometric testing center? In a conference room or school? At home or school on your computer?

What, exactly, did the certificate say? CPC? Or did it say CPC-A? CCS? CCS-P?

When did you do this? A year ago? Two years ago?

How long ago did the certificate lapse? Did it lapse after one year? Two years? Three?

Well, until you start the perfect MT organization, they are the only one around ..joke or not.

I doubt its "the CMT exam" which AAMT has some organization
the test you are referring to is probabky your final exam there at the school and you will receive a "certificate" for MT, not the same thing. Also it cost $300 or so and you must have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a MT before you are even allowed to take the test. Go to the AAMT web site and look up the test certification requirements.
