i just wanted to say hello... i'm 25, just had my second baby girl in january, married, and i love medical transcription passionately. i'm not a terribly new MT. i have six months' experience working directly for a hospital from home but unfortunately had irreconcilable differences with the woman who got me the job and she succeeded in getting me fired (twice i might add). i trained with her at her home for two weeks before working on my own, and my six months of experience (and lack of a good reference) has kept me from getting an MT job elsewhere, so i'm about to start CareerStep.
i'm geeked about getting this program done so i can get back into the work force. i have never had a job i enjoyed so thoroughly as medical transcription. it helps that i've been going to school for pre-admission nursing the last couple years, i'm sure most of the CS program will be review but i could always use improvement.
anyway, i didn't mean to waste any of your time, i'm just so excited to be an MT again, hopefully by this fall... i'll keep an eye out here if i can help with any posts.
